Chronic diseases are degenerative conditions that significantly impact an individual's quality of life. Various degenerative diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and heart stroke, require immediate attention. Indonesia faces a dual burden in healthcare, grappling with both rampant infectious diseases and the rising prevalence of chronic degenerative illnesses. Therefore, health promotion efforts are crucial in preventing degenerative diseases among adolescents. This initiative targets teenagers due to their unhealthy lifestyle choices, which are evident in their smoking habits, poor dietary practices, insufficient consumption of fruits and vegetables, and a lack of physical activity. The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance awareness regarding the prevention of degenerative diseases among youth and to address the emergence of such conditions in this age group. The results of the community service activities indicate a notable increase in average knowledge from 6.61 to 13.80 and an improvement in attitudes from 9.61 to 14.47. The community service activities were successfully executed, as evidenced by the smooth conduct of the events and the active participation of the adolescents. To improve health quality, it is essential to foster awareness and enhance education among teenagers about the prevention of degenerative diseases.

improving poetry-writing skills among 10th-grade students. This classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages. In the first cycle, 60% of students actively participated, with an average score of 70 on their poetry tests. After revisions and improvements in the second cycle, student participation increased to 85%, and the average test score rose to 85, reflecting a 21.4% improvement. Data were collected through observations, interviews, written tests, and documentation. The findings indicate that the "ABC 5 Dasar" game effectively enhances student engagement, spontaneity, and creativity in poetry writing, providing a culturally relevant and enjoyable learning experienc.

PT X, one of the state-owned enterprises to support the country's food security, is the largest and most comprehensive fertilizer producer in Indonesia that generates various wastes, including industrial liquid waste. Liquid waste has no economic value, so it is very important to treat it. PT X Company uses potential Hydrogen (pH)ysical and chemical treatment. There are two effluent treatment units, setting, line injection, and sludge treatment. All parameters evaluated include chemical requirements for oxygen (COD), zat padat yang tersuspensi(TSS), ammonia (NH3), total kjehdal nitrogen (TKN), fluorine, degree of acidity (potential of hydrogen (pH)), oil, and fat. According to the results after the analysis conducted in the study, it was found that the air pollution data after wastewater treatment was carried out showed that the quality of wastewater every month had met the quality standards of the rules and could be discharged into water bodies / seas. This shows the effectiveness of the treatment process implemented by the company.

The development of spatial data utilization has increased dramatically in the past decade. This is related to the widespread use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the advancement of technology in acquiring spatial data. High-tech tools like UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) are increasingly integrated with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other surveying and mapping technologies, and are therefore used in various surveying, mapping, and spatial analysis projects. One of the advantages of UAVs is that the captured data can be processed through software, producing images with high spatial and temporal resolution. The use of this technology demonstrates that mapping can be performed using photographic data. The purpose of this research is to analyze and map the distribution of cultural tourism sites in detail using UAV and GIS in Nagari Tuo Pariangan, Tanah Datar Regency. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that data collection was carried out using a DJI Mavic Pro drone, capturing 228 aerial photos which were then exported into orthophotos. Orthophotos function as a reference for the distribution map of cultural tourism sites. In addition, a database was created, integrating spatial (geographic) and non-spatial (attribute) data, containing the necessary information for tourism objects, such as the owner's name, year of construction, function, and history of the object. There are 31 cultural tourism objects in Nagari Pariangan, Tanah Datar Regency, consisting of 8 Rumah Gadang (traditional houses), 11 Surau (small mosques), 3 hot spring pools, 3 stone inscriptions, 1 hot spring pool, 1 Tuo Pariangan Mosque, 1 river, 1 Tabuik Mosque, and 1 Saruang Hall. Most of these cultural tourism objects are well-maintained by their owners, while a small number are neglected due to a lack of adequate human resources.

Political education is one of the most important methods to prepare the younger generation to not only understand their rights and obligations in politics, but also have self-confidence in political parties. This study was conducted at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) to identify organizational practices in providing political education to students. Data collection was carried out using qualitative methods and case study designs, with 20 respondents from the organizational community, as well as observation and document analysis. The findings show that student organizations make a significant contribution to increasing student participation in politics through various activities such as leadership training and public discussions. However, issues such as active participation and students' understanding of politics are the main focus. Therefore, political education through student organizations must continue to be developed in order to better prepare students to become critical thinkers with integrity in everyday life.

Kasus kelalaian tindakan medis merupakan salah satu permasalahan serius dalam praktik hukum kesehatan yang dapat merugikan pasien sebagai korban. Kelalaian ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kerugian fisik dan psikis korban, tetapi juga menimbulkan pertanyaan tentang efektivitas perlindungan hukum yang diberikan kepada mereka. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlindungan hukum bagi korban kelalaian tindakan medis dengan menelaah Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Surabaya Nomor 840/Pid.B/2020/PN Sby tanggal 28 Januari 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan kasus, didukung oleh kajian dokumen hukum dan literatur relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengadilan mempertimbangkan unsur kelalaian, akibat hukum, serta pemenuhan hak korban dalam putusannya. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi perlindungan hukum, terutama terkait pemenuhan ganti rugi dan rehabilitasi bagi korban. Artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan regulasi dan kebijakan hukum kesehatan yang lebih berpihak pada korban, serta peningkatan pemahaman tenaga medis terhadap kewajiban hukum untuk mencegah kelalaian serupa di masa depan.

This research aims to analyze the legal impact of certificates not in the name of the debtor which are made as credit collateral at the Bank and to analyze efforts to resolve loans of debtors who are in default while certificates not in the name of the debtor are made as credit collateral. The urgency of this research is so that the public gets legal certainty regarding certificates not in the debtor's name which are used as collateral for credit at the bank and debtors experience default so that the public is more careful in lending their certificates to other people to be used as collateral at the bank. This type of research is known as normative jurisprudence. The results of the research show that involving third parties in the process of debt contracts against credit is not prohibited. However, the regulation does not explicitly regulate the rights and obligations of third parties, so it cannot provide explicit legal protection to the third party as the guarantor in cases where he feels injured either by the debtor or the creditor of the credit. Consequently, the legal impact arising from the availability of collateral certificates of debt borrowers.




Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak hukum sertifikat bukan atas nama debitur yang dibuat sebagai jaminan kredit di Bank dan untuk menganalisa upaya penyelesaian pinjaman debitur yang mengalami wanprestasi sedang sertifikat bukan atas nama debitur yang dibuat sebagai jaminan kredit. Urgensi penelitian ini adalah agar masyarakat mendapatkan kepastian hukum tentang sertifikat bukan atas nama debitur yang dijadikan jaminan kredit di bank dan debitur mengalami wanprestasi agar masyarakat lebih berhati-hati dalam meminjamkan sertifikatnya kepada orang lain untuk dijadikan jaminan di bank. Jenis penelitian ini dikenal sebagai yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melibatkan pihak ketiga dalam proses perjanjian utang piutang terhadap kredit tidak dilarang. Namun, peraturan tersebut tidak secara eksplisit mengatur hak dan kewajiban pihak ketiga, sehingga tidak dapat memberikan perlindungan hukum yang jelas bagi pihak ketiga sebagai pemilik jaminan dalam kasus di mana ia merasa dirugikan baik terhadap debitur maupun kreditur kredit tersebut. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of assistance in teaching Quran reading and writing as well as Pegon script at Taman Pendidikan Qur'an (TPQ) Al-Kautsar, Sumokembangsri Village. The assistance is designed to enhance students' skills in reading and writing the Quran, as well as in Pegon script, which is part of the local tradition. The method used in this community service program employs Participatory Rural Appraisal, involving field surveys and direct communication with the community. The results indicate that routine and structured assistance significantly improves students' abilities in reading the Quran and writing Pegon script. The program also positively impacts students' understanding and skills in effectively practicing both aspects. This community service program is expected to contribute to the development of better and more adaptive teaching methods at TPQ and strengthen the preservation of local culture through Pegon script writing.

English language skills are very important for students to support academic tasks and to support their future careers. English language skills include listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the determining factors of English language skills of students in the Nutrition Science study program at the Persada Nabire Health Sciences College (STIKes). The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in general the determining factors of English language skills of students of the Nutrition Study Program of STIKes Persada Nabire include 4 factors, including: Listening Ability, in this case students have a low vocabulary, Speaking Ability, in this case what affects students' speaking ability is the students' anxiety about mistakes in speaking English and lack of mastery of English grammar, Reading Ability, factors that affect students are reading motivation and low vocabulary and lack of mastery of grammar, Writing Ability, factors that affect students are low interest and lack of support from the environment around students.

This study analyzes the ambiguity regarding the obligation to mediate in resolving patent disputes according to the Patent Law, and its implications for the efficiency of the dispute resolution process. Although Article 153 and Article 154 of the Patent Law open up opportunities for dispute resolution through alternative mechanisms, the ambiguity regarding the obligation to mediate creates legal uncertainty that can hinder efficiency and increase dispute costs. Based on the Economic Analysis of Law approach, this study shows that the obligation to mediate can reduce social costs, accelerate the dispute resolution process, and increase overall economic efficiency. Mediation as an obligation can reduce the burden on the judicial system, minimize transaction costs, and create better legal and business stability. Therefore, this study encourages the implementation of the obligation to mediate in patent disputes to create a more efficient, fair, and profitable dispute resolution system for all parties involved.
