Research was conducted on the detection of batik wastewater in the batik industry of Pekalongan, which generates liquid waste containing synthetic dyes, heavy metals, and hazardous compounds that can potentially pollute the environment if not properly treated. This study aims to develop a simple detection method based on digital image analysis to identify the color characteristics of batik wastewater. Data were obtained by sampling liquid waste from several affected rivers, which were then analyzed using a digital camera and image processing software to determine the intensity values of the red, green, and blue (RGB) channels. The results show that variations in waste concentration significantly influence the distribution of RGB values, enabling faster, cheaper, and more practical identification of pollution patterns compared to conventional laboratory methods. These findings are expected to serve as the foundation for developing a digital technology-based batik wastewater quality monitoring system as part of efforts to mitigate environmental pollution in Pekalongan.

Variational Quantum Circuits (VQCs) have emerged as a cornerstone of hybrid quantum–classical algorithms designed to harness the computational potential of near-term quantum devices. By combining parameterized quantum gates with classical optimization, VQCs provide a flexible framework for tackling machine learning, chemistry, and optimization problems intractable for classical methods. This review comprehensively overviews VQC design principles, ansatz structures, optimization strategies, and real-world applications. Furthermore, we discuss fundamental challenges such as barren plateaus, the expressibility–trainability trade-off, and current noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) hardware limitations. Finally, we highlight emerging directions that could enable scalable, noise-resilient, and physically interpretable variational quantum models for future quantum computing applications

Malaria is an infectious disease caused by Plasmodium parasites and transmitted through the bites of female Anopheles mosquitoes. It remains a serious public health issue in various endemic regions, particularly in developing countries. This study aims to identify the factors associated with malaria incidence and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention and control programs that have been implemented. A quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research design was used, involving secondary data from the Health Office reports and primary data collected through field surveys in the endemic area of PT. Tandan Sawita Papua, Keerom Regency. The results showed that malaria incidence is associated with the use of mosquito nets and the use of mosquito repellents. The study concludes that an integrated approach to malaria control is essential, including community education, environmental improvements, and sustainable health policy support.

Managing human resources and entrepreneurship are two crucial components of any successful organization. Human resources management focuses on recruiting, training, and retaining employees to ensure they can perform their job duties effectively. On the other hand, entrepreneurship involves the creation and development of new business ventures, products, or services. Both areas play a significant role in the overall success and growth of a company. In this paper, we will explore the intersection of human resources management and entrepreneurship, examining how these two disciplines can work together to drive innovation and organizational success. By leveraging the expertise and creativity of both HR professionals and entrepreneurs, companies can cultivate a culture of innovation and adaptability. This collaboration can lead to the development of cutting-edge products and services, as well as the implementation of forward-thinking HR practices that attract and retain top talent. However, integrating HR and entrepreneurship may also present challenges, such as balancing risk-taking with employee well-being and ensuring that organizational goals align with individual aspirations. Despite these obstacles, the potential benefits of combining these disciplines are vast, offering companies a strategic advantage in today's competitive business landscape.

The main issue faced by the community in Pasuruan Regency is the shortage of a safe and adequate blood supply, especially for urgent needs such as accidents, surgeries, or certain illnesses. The Blood Donation Program initiated by students serves as a form of social service aimed at supporting blood stock availability and raising community awareness on the importance of blood donation. The method of implementation includes outreach to students and local residents, and collaboration with the local Red Cross Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD PMI) to ensure strict health standards. Activities include direct blood donation, involving students and residents as volunteer donors. The outcome of this initiative is a significant increase in blood stock for the UTD PMI in Pasuruan Regency, along with a boost in community participation and understanding of the humanitarian value of blood donation as an essential social contribution.

The purpose of this study is to design and build a garden fence made of wood and recycled bottles in an effort to develop an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution. In addition to functioning as a room divider, this garden fence can also be used as a decorative component to add to the aesthetic appeal of the garden. This study examines the structural strength, material durability, and aesthetic value of the fence building using wood and recycled bottles. The method used in this activity is the ABCD method, the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach method which is a mentoring method that prioritizes the utilization of assets and potentials around the community. This research method also evaluates the environmental impact and cost efficiency of using recycled materials. The results of the study show that a fence made of wood and recycled bottles can be a practical and attractive choice for a garden plan. This fence not only supports the management of plastic bottle waste, but also provides a smart solution that is financially efficient and affordable.

Organic fertilizers contain organic materials such as compost, manure, or other organic waste materials. When organic fertilizers are applied to the soil, they provide an abundant source of nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as essential micronutrients. The community service activity program aims to empower farmers with the knowledge and skills to make organic fertilizers from local materials, which not only lower production costs but also improve soil quality and crop yields. The community service activity with the theme "Assistance and Making Organic Fertilizers in Reducing Fertilizer Costs for Farmers in Rowo Gempol Village, Lekok District, Pasuruan Regency" Through the Participatory Action Research method which includes preparation, processing, application, and evaluation, this program has succeeded in improving soil quality and supporting plant growth in the campus green area. Organic fertilizers, produced from campus organic waste such as dry leaves and food scraps, increase soil nutrient content and plant health, and reduce the negative impacts of synthetic chemicals. This activity also involves students in the process of processing and applying fertilizers, providing practical experience and raising awareness of the importance of sustainable agriculture and environmental management. The evaluation results showed a significant positive impact on soil quality and plant growth, with more fertile soil and healthier plants. In addition to the ecological benefits, the program plays an important educational role, by increasing students' understanding of environmentally friendly practices and organic farming skills. The success of this model is expected to be replicated in other villages. so that the benefits of this program can be felt more widely and support the creation of more sustainable agriculture.

Abstrak:
Empirical studies of possible compound corrosion inhibitors require a lot of money, time, and resources. Therefore, we used a machine learning (ML) paradigm based on quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) models to evaluate ensemble algorithms as predictors of corrosion inhibition efficiency (CIE) values. Our investigation reveals that the gradient boosting (GB) regressor model outperforms other ensemble-based models. This advantage is evaluated objectively using the metrics root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and coefficient of determination (R2). In summary, our research provides a new perspective on how well machine learning algorithms in particular ensembles work to identify organic molecules such as pyridazine that have the potential to prevent corrosion on the surfaces of metals such as iron and its alloys.
